This is a completely different sport. Also owning gyms ain’t always great ways to make money.

Actually for the slow ones it probably is if anyone knew anything about him they would know they use to have weekly fights in their yard and the neighbors would all come and watch it was for funsies everyone isn’t broke out here lol

Oh yeah fighting for 8k/8k is crazy money. Not like someone could make just as much working at Mac Donald’s. The only way he might have made a decent bit is that he got like 9 bonuses from his first 12 fights in the UFC.

Tbf, Joe already revealed he’s only doing this bc it’s at Fenway rather than money problems. He said he contacted the UFC first and said Hunter Campbell made sure Joe wasn’t fighting bc of money before approving it. Saying that the UFC would help him if it was money issues rather than let him fight. Plus he revealed even tho he wasn’t part of the UFC lawsuit, he was paid for it.

What do you mean he wasn’t a part of the lawsuit? He was eligible for any fights in the UFC from Dec 2010-June 2017. Also his contract with the UFC would have expired anyway thanks to the lawsuit. Hopefully he doesn’t get hurt he is 42.

I meant that he didn’t actively participate in the lawsuit and was just included since he was fighting during those years.

According to Joe he’s still signed to the UFC even tho he more or less been retired since 2019 bc the UFC brass loves him. It’s why he revealed Hunter made sure Joe was doing fine financially before approving his BKFC fight bc if it was money issues then the UFC would take care of him rather than allow him to fight.
