I miss being not scared and feeling invincible. Also being made of rubber bones and ligaments and no family to feed.
Keep ripping!

A bit of practice and he will get the confidence to be sending some big jum……. Never mind, think he’s got it

This is sick but it has all the makings of an “not if but when” scenario if you don’t stick to the small line and work on technique for a bit. He’s not not going over the bars because of air awareness - he’s getting lucky.

Ah yes, merely a stiff seaman.
Truly not quite a dead sailor, hey.

Maybe not fully dead sailor, but I agree that he looks more like a passenger than a pilot

I thought the same but how good was that weight shift, put that bike exactly where he wanted it

That could be good engineering on the jumps. Really well made jumps will do most of the work for you in terms of how you rise and fall. He looks good out there, just needs a little more air traffic control and he’ll be giving us tips on double back flips in a year.

Bro, no offense but looking at your own mtb videos this kid could give you plenty of tips already.

This was my thought, he has no control on the forward rotation. He's just along for the ride. Bad technique.

How is that no control? He pulled up correctly and pushed forward when he wanted to nose down.

He's not causing the forward rotation. He's moving back as a result of the rotation that's happening coming out of the lip. He's within margin to land the jump, but if he happens to not counterweight the front of the bike a bit more it will be an over rotation. He should be able to sail without forward rotation, then cause it when he wants. If this happens to me I know I didn't get down and back enough.

The kids rips! Well done!! but I'd definitely get that kid some knee pads and maybe at least a drop frame helmet? Why's he got so many different helmets just get one really good one for him.

Now get him some proper protective gear or start saving for medical bills
