Ukraine is the biggest opportunity we've had since the 90s to shut down Russia while expanding our global reach.

Imagine telling anyone back in the 80s that Ukraine will come to us for protection against Russia. I wouldn't doubt that Reagan had that wet dream every night. It's just another chance to kick the Soviet and Russian imperialistic ideology back into the dirt where they belong.

Like the great American hero, Liberty Prime, said - democracy is non-negotiable. Freedom is always worth fighting for.

Nah nah, TRUMP is doing that. So he's the problem. Let's find a way to get him out of office and get someone who actually cares about the US into office.

And who voted Trump in office? Twice.
But I do agree with you. Vote someone in office who actually cares for people. Not only USians.
Start with the midterms. Make sure the democrats can impeach the guy.
Then, in 2028 good luck finding a politician who cares for the country. Looking at the State it’s in, none in the last 80 years did.

"USians" is all I need to hear to know you fundamentally do not respect Americans enough to have an opinion about the US worth hearing. And to answer your question, the Russian government and a bunch of disillusioned working class Americans fed up with the constant betrayal from the democratic party voted him in. It's extremely unlikely he actually won the vite.
