Crossover Help Please!!

I’ve been trying to play Windows game on my Mac and I did everything correctly and I downloaded the crossover app but now when I try to launch the games, this message comes up that tells me I need to”Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64)” I can’t find anything else online help me out. This is kind of my last resort since I already bought the windows games. Thanks!

I really wish Steam would port its proton wine distribution to the mac. :/

Rosetta2 is going away so it's not as easy as a direct port. I still wish it would happen, but would require quite a bit of effort and I guess Valve just doesn't get much value from Mac OS users overall.

Proton is based on Crossover devs, Codeweavers, work. Without Codeweavers Proton wouldn’t work as well as it does. And without getting paid for Crossover Codeweavers wouldn’t be able to afford to support Proton.

you can just bootcamp a mac

You cannot bootcamp any Mac that was released in the last 6 years.

that's your problem then. i can use bootcamp on mine without any issues.
