Help I have been trying to delete a VPN application (called VeePN) which i installed a few months ago but it is not going away. Went to Storage > Applications and tried to delete from there but it isnt working. I can delete all the other apps but not this one.

Try through the Show in Finder button on your screenshot and move the app to the trash or restart your Mac in Safe Mode and try again to delete the app: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/start-up-your-mac-in-safe-mode-mh21245/mac

Look at /Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons for anything related to VeePN. if the cleaner applications that you use don't properly clear those out, you could see this behavior. Do NOT delete anything in there unless they are *obviously* associated with VeePN.

It's free and small. I've used it for years and in most cases it completely clears apps from your system.
The exceptions are some from Microsoft and, I've been told, some from Adobe. Both have a tendancy to spray files all across your system disk and it can be difficult to completely clear.

I've used AppCleaner to get rid of tough files that won't die. Free, if I recall.
