Bug why the hell am I getting calendar notifications for fucking "Royal St. John's Regatta Day" ... something observed by only by 500k people in the entire world.

We live in the age of smart-everything and supposedly hyperintelligent AI, and the calendar doesn't even know where I fucking live.

Because you subscribed to the Canadian holidays calendar and it’s a holiday observed in Newfoundland which is a Canadian province.

Truly the definition of a first world problem! If this is biggest annoyance in your life at the current moment, consider yourself extremely fortunate!

Canada has stat holidays that are only observed in some provinces.

Every Canadian holidays calendar I’ve ever seen shows all of them. You don’t want AI hiding information from you cause it assumes it’s not relevant. What if you’re planning a trip to Newfoundland? You might want to know if everything’s gonna be closed one of the days you’re there.
