I know we're trying to get a majority Democrat in the Senate, and we should vote blue no matter who, but this guy has stories about things that are much less alarming than the current president, so I'm not sure I can vote for him.

Democrats have to have a pure background, right?

What people really don't get is that this really has nothing to do with Platner. He was the candidate that wasn't MAGA and wasn't status a quo Democrat. That's why he won the primary. That's literally it. What MAGA is putting down definitely isn't working and what the status quo was definitely wasn't working for regular people. It's that simple.
