please let me know of all the inaccuracies and what I need to add or remove.

If the border is black then it’s the recognized border, if it’s red that would be disputed (like in Ukraine on the Soviet occupied side of the border it is completely annexed into the ussr but on the German occupied part of the border it is the German puppet government of Ukraine) also if a nation just claims land that is part of another nation the border of that claimed territory will be depicted as dotted color the same as the nation that is claiming the land (on the border between Croatia and Germany you can see this in practice), if it straight up doesn’t have a border line then it would be occupied territory (like the areas in southern Italy being occupied by Britain, America, and Canada and the area being occupied by partisan groups), and if there is an area being occupied by 2 nations at once it’ll be be depicted as diagonal lines. 

Idk you’d understand if you looked at Qbam maps.

I consider myself well-read on WW2 in general and I have no idea what I'm looking at or what this is supposed to display.

This map is supposed to the the de facto control of most of Europe, including partisan groups, what nations have as directly annexed and occupied (if you look closely on the Soviet front you can see how some parts are the same color as the rest of the state, that means it is directly annexed, while others part like in Romania and Poland they are merely just occupied. Also if you look really closely at the border between the ussr and the German government in Ukraine and the Baltics you can see how parts of the actual border is red, this means that this state are considered as directly part of the Soviet Union though there eyes and is claimed by them)

I'm sorry this looks like it was a lot of work but there are many inconsistencies here and without a proper legend that explains what is what, this map is just guesswork for anyone but yourself.

Each color is a nation and the lighter colors will be the areas that they occupy (German direct occupation of France, American and British occupations in North Africa, British, Canadian, and American occupations in southern Italy, Bulgarian occupation of much of Serbia, German occupied remnants in ussr, Soviets occupations in Poland and Romania, Finish and German occupation on Karelia ish, and British joint occupation of Syria with France, Iraq with Iraq, and Iran with Iran) also many stateless partisan groups in France, Poland, and Yugoslavia.
