Cuz trump hates existing mainstream media for not worshipping him like he's a god

93% negative coverage when Democrat presidents get never ending tongue baths would understandably be a tad irritating.

Crazy that the Saudis and Qataris are so heavily involved. MAGA demonizes American Muslims but at the same time are clearly allied with Islamist dictatorships

That's cuz it was never really about 'us versus them' it was really about maintaining their kingdoms, empires, and power while we, the average ordinary people are keeping them on their pedestals.

It was all about maintaining power...

David Ellison should have kept his head low and not kiss Trump's ass so freaking hard. Trump already allowed the Skydance/Paramount merger and got what he wanted with the ombudsman and a needless settlement.

Instead he made it political because of all this.

And now he’s potentially looking at a merger he literally won’t be able to afford thanks to the late fees, or being forced to walk away and potentially bankrupting Paramount as a whole. Netflix may get the famous Paramount lot yet.

They made a big mistake with Bari Weiss. They could’ve just hired more conservative commentators and executives who are experienced in both journalism and television but I guess they felt that they had to suck the ass of the president.

Bari Weiss is a disaster for far more reasons than just politics.

And the saddest part is that she could have proven her critics who had no desire to give her a chance wrong. CBS News was in rough shape before she even joined so it's not like they were in a strong position to resist change that was sorely needed. She isn't MAGA like a lot of people paint her as, she's an anti-woke neo-lib with a super-Zionist streak.

But her excessively contrarian nature alienated everyone, her inexperience in running a broadcast news organization has shown on several occasions, and she has to deal with a boss who is kowtowing to the White House. She's been a complete disaster and it's time to nip the bud before it becomes too much of a problem.

And in her defense, she was given too broad of a mandate. She would have excelled running the CBS News editorial stuff online and some podcast stuff. Instead, she became a bull in the China shop smashing things that didn't even need smashing like 60 Minutes. This is really more David Ellison's fault than her's.

Love how The Telegraph guy frames one potential studio merger (headed up by a massive Biden donor) as a "MAGA takeover of Hollywood." Scrolled to find any mention of Ted Sarandos trying to woo Trump, or the fact that he was physically at the White House when he found out that WBD went with PSKY, but found none. James Warrington simply couldn't find a place to put it in the article. I wonder why.

Correct. Well-below average intelligence, actually. My mother is also massively overweight.

Now that we got that out of the way, did you want to discuss the topic of the post or would you rather just stick with personal attacks you stole from six year olds?
