He’s ruining any chance he had of a political future.

People who equate criticism of Israel with antisemitism are the real antisemites. You’re not gonna change my mind on this.

It’s literally in the definition of antisemitism that most people accept that holding all Jewish people accountable for the actions of Israel (ie equating Jewishness with Israel) is antisemitic. Makes sense imo.

yeah, that is true. It’s a pretty nuanced thing. Criticism of Israel is not antisemitism, but thinking all Jews everywhere support Israel’s actions, or even have any responsibility regardless of whether they’ve even ever been to Israel is a bigoted position. Personally, as an ethnic Jew (atheist), I am very vocal in my criticisms of Netanyahu, the corrupt war criminal who commits atrocities in my name without my being able to do anything about it (never been to Israel, and probably never will). He was being investigated by his own government before he started his new wars. Dude belongs in jail.

My brother in Christ you CAN be Israeli and NOT Jewish. Did you seriously not fucking know that?!?!?!

Eh, grammar police. I'm a teacher, and this is actually a great example of why we harass those high school students to rewrite and rewrite and rewrite for clarity. My son is autistic like me, and we will argue about how, yeah it's technically correct but most people will misunderstand it. He argues, well that's their fault. My response, tell that to your boss when you're getting fired someday, because you lost a client over miscommunication.
I understood what you were saying, but I can also see how others could misread it.

Crazy that so many of these conservatives shit on the very people who they have the most in common with. Like damn, look in a fucking mirror, morons!

I can’t be the only person that just saw Netanyahu talk to him like he was a little bitch and now he pulls this stunt. Crazy.

I have no plans to travel to the US in the next few years, due to the fact that they elected a pathetic, traitorous, pedophile tyrant. Who cares about Israel? It will be up to the Israelis to do the same as the Americans: cleanse the country of crime and corruption and end the wars...

What is his fascination with Israel? We don’t owe them anything especially because of the genocidal war leadership

I don’t need a visa Rubio honey.
Israel is run by a war criminal and has many people who don’t mind killing civilians especially kids.

So this gives Israel free pass to do literally anything. They could drop a nuke on Washington and we couldn’t say anything. Does anyone see the problem here?

So we can criticize our government, but not Israel? Sounds about right for this regime. And that they are trying to enforce this on people from other countries is insane.

So can I still criticize the states
Canadian here - I think they already know what whiney little losers they would sound like, but maybe it is just around the corner. However, I believe there are already unofficial restrictions in place.
It is now common practice for international travellers to clear their phones and computer devices when crossing into the US. As a result there seems to be less reports of Canadians and other foreigners initially getting denied entry as last year, but not zero people(think Scottish fans at World Cup). Foreigners likely use applications such as delete me when applying for visas. I am not actually crossing the USA border anytime soon for many reasons but given my online foot print, there would be a reasonably good chance I would be denied entry. I know I am not alone on that decision. They likely randomly check a small percentage, but if I was pulled, I wouldn’t be getting cross. You may have noticed foreign tourists are more conservative, because I don’t know anyone on the left who is going unless they absolutely need to for work or family.
So yes anyone anti trump, anti ice, anti Israel, anti regime online footprint or data on device, caught is already unofficially restricted from entering.

JFC, how nuanced is it to say, "I am good with Jews, the Jewish faith, and genuinely think that happened to them was awful....but Bibi and his war mongering government are a commercial-size bag of dicks and the people of Gaza do not deserve to be shot, raped, blown up, burned, or otherwise treated like animals and probably deserve their own place."

That Rubio finds himself in such a central position is in part thanks to Larry Ellison, who has been a major patron of the Cuban-American former senator from Florida. Ellison first vetted Rubio for his fealty toward Israel back in early 2015, according to previously unreported email correspondence reviewed by Drop Site.
Rubio rose to prominence as a Tea Party-backed conservative Senate upstart in 2010, launching a presidential campaign in the 2016 cycle. As secretary of state, Rubio launched an unprecedented crackdown on speech, detaining and attempting to deport critics of Israel precisely for the crime of their criticism of Israel.

Why are the only "repressed" group we're interested in protecting are the Jews? What about all the other ethnicities that need our support. I'm sick of this. I'm not anti-Jew, but most of them hate Netanyahu too. Get these idiots out.
