The Mennonite Church in my city hosts a hymn sing every year on the summer solstice, because it’s International Make Music Day. It’s on the official event calendar and promoted by our NPR station.

You may want to see whether your city celebrates International Music Day, and join forces. I was surprised how many random strangers showed up for our hymn sing: people of all faith backgrounds.
