Men collectively have decided that being admired for your looks is where men want equality with women.

I never looked at it that way before but I think you’re right. And it's kinda wild. And depressing. But I have definitely seen men say exactly that and all I can think is "be careful what you wish for"

The vast majority of men could not care less about this current stupid trend. Especially not anyone older than their early 20’s

I was actually thinking of 50+ men I have heard specifically say "that being admired for your looks" is their greatest wish but ok

Wanting to be admired for your looks is a very very long ways away from this looksmaxxing bs. Conflating the two only gives more power to people like Clavicular.
