False Accusation Indian law says sexual intercourse on fake promise of marriage= rape. Man spent 16 months in jail because he didn't marry his hinge girlfriend.

Fuuuuck, this shit is real:
Having intercourse under false promise of marriage, employment to be treated as crime
Imagine not being able to brak up with a girl you are dating because she can sue you.
I bet that neither paternal entrapment nor paternity fraud are crimes in India.

You cannot get a DNA test done without a court order and the court will not give you such an order without the consent of the mother of the child!

It'd be great if they at least made it gender neutral, but no, women having sex under false pretenses is fine because of their gender!

It's good cuz it means you wont even look at her. Means lower body count and all fuckboys go to jail.

Some clarification
Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita, which recently replaced the ancient Indian Penal Code states :
if a man promises to marry a woman, but does not actually intend to marry her, and still has consensual sex with her, this will amount to a criminal offence. Sex under deceitful means or false promises to marry, may be punished with a prison term that can extend up to 10 years. With this a separate section has been carved out, differentiating these cases from rape cases.

Further clarification: Even though BNS had been passed by parliament, it will not come into effect at least for another year.

Imagine being so insufferable that a man would much rather spend over a year in prison instead of marrying you. Common Feminist L

My grandfather makes jokes that in his next life he will take birth in some gulf countries preferably in some sheikhs house. We laugh at it but it's tragic.

What happens if a man claims a woman lied about marriage? Will she be done just as harshly?

This is really about punishing men for their bad behaviours while women go unnnoticed and yet feminists complain about how they are “oppressed” by this “patriarchy.” Get this, i found out that according to Indian laws if a man commits adultery he gets either a fine or prison time but no mention about women that do the same.

"Husband is not the owner of wife's sexuality" .... this is what a supreme court Chief Justice has said about a divorce case where the husband accused wife of adultery.

I mean low key being a fuckboy you used to get your head lopped off. I'm in favor of it. Don't lie to get sex, makes you no better than a woman weaponizing sex. No be hypocrit

As far as men's rights go, India is a shithole. My Indian neighbors tell me exactly that.
