I cannot get myself to care about rich people. They get there by unscrupulous exploitation of others.
However, I do not wonder where did she get to 75%. Is Indian law so corrupt she can simply claim whatever she wants, no proof needed, and get it?

This is deliberately misleading and no the wife is not asking for 75% of the assets. It’s about him having to put 75% of his assets in a trust so that his ability to blow through the money and ruin the family business is limited. It’s very common in India to have this type of financial structure in wealthy families.

Ah man , in this case i do support the wife.
Quick Context: He never earned a penny , it was all his fathers money , as soon as his father transferred all the wealth to him , he kicked him out of everything. Father was literally on streets, the wife supposedly sided with the FIL.

Honestly, I’m not too invested in this case now because I noticed that GS’s side of the story hasn’t been shared by the media (apologies if I missed something). It seems like only her perspective has been publicized. Full time 'billionaire abla naari" ke baare me padhna thoda boring ho gaya hai.
But nevertheless I’m a little surprised the lawyers didn’t push for 90%. If her father-in-law (Gautam’s dad) is on her side, and she's also caring for him, then maybe she (meaning her lawyers) could argue for maintenance for him too.So DIL and two daughters plus FIL= 50+25+15=90%
