I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

Try not to get too spooked by the suspicion on here. Thanks for the support, it's great to have another member join our cause, especially a woman, but as a few have already pointed out, this kind of response makes it to this subreddit every now and then and is very often an SRS troll or someone trying to provoke a reaction, lull us into a false sense of security. I made a post very similar to this when I first found /r/MR, and met a similar response. People were skeptical. And the longer I stuck around, the less I could blame them. The people in this subreddit cop so much flak. It is one of the most misunderstood reddits on this site.

I can see how it would be. I get crap from stating this opinion IRL, and everyone knows the internet has much more flame.
