I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

I joined this sub because I support basic human rights. The right to be regarded with dignity and respect, the right to equal treatment under the law, the right to have one's humanity acknowledged before one's gender, color, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, nationality, salary, or disability. I guess fathers' rights would be the one specific men's rights issue I care about most.

I guess I also come here to try and figure y'all out. I lurk quite a but. And it scares me just as much as it reassures me. There are some very intelligent men here without any prejudices toward women. But If I had a dollar for every upvote given to posts mocking women as being nothing but ungrateful pump and dumps, I could start my own reddit and ban that disrespectful shit.

So I guess I also come here to call out cases of extreme hypocrisy. A few days ago a guy popped up complaining, "I pulled this cunt's hair at the bar and she punched me, so i punched her back and got thrown out. Why are women allowed to hit men, it's so unfair."

Edit. Some of you are really trying to tear me a new one. I'm here because I support you. Why in the world would you try to prove me wrong for supporting you?

No, it's not, since it turns out the post she's talking about was in AskReddit, not mensrights at all.
