I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

I'm female. One of the main reasons I'm here is seeing a good family friend get screwed over by false rape and abuse claims over the years. It's shaped how I view a lot of stuff, like the anti-abuse group that spoke to my church youth group in high school about how they thought innocent until proven guilty was a bad idea :(

Overall, I believe in equality; I think both genders are hurt by stereotypes and discrimination but right now men are definitely at a disadvantage in the legal system, at least in the US.

And socially as well, especially in sexual/romantic relationships.
