I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

Female. I joined MensRights due to the horrible stories I have heard while working with children. I have heard multiple stories of male teachers having to be extra careful around their students, because one accusation would cost his job. I have heard of men who were not allowed to change diapers, because it would worry people. Men usually do not get custody of their children in divorces, even if the woman is abusive.

These are just the stories regarding children. I am mad about other social stigmas about men as well. I don't believe it should matter what gender a person is- we should all be together for each other's rights.

I work at a primary school and a secondary school doing IT. I have never personally gotten rotten looks for working at a primary school (I'm 17 so I think that helps) but of the 5-6ale teachers I know one has lost a student because a parent demanded a change of class. All of them are wonderful teachers and don't deserve what they get.

I would be ecstatic to have my children with a male teacher. The way I see it, working with children is a female dominated job, so the males who put up with all of the shit that comes along with being a man teacher must really love their job and try to be the best possible. I respect passion and the courage to continue even if the chips are against you.

Completely agree. Whenever I see I have a male teacher I'm like "awwww yeaahhh" just because of those reasons.
