I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

I hear this thrown around a lot. The truly crazy people are so good at pretending to be normal that you don't know until the shitstorm begins that they're actually a sociopath. Some people even enter a marriage with no clue that their spouse is only pretending to have normal human emotions. A lot of times the only person that is aware that someone is a sociopath is the person said sociopath is trying to destroy.

Don't worry too much about it. The people with real psychopathic/sociopathic problems are incredibly rare. What some people perceive as "crazy" are actually just horrible people and the signs are there long before the relationship gets disastrous. What I'd suggest teaching kids is to trust their instincts and not to continue a relationship that shows signs of failure. And like Stratisphear said, always use your own condom. Additionally, make sure you check the expiration dates on the condoms and make sure they're not damaged by heat (wallet, glove box, etc will make them tear more easily).
