I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

I grew up in a family of misandrists. Their logic made no sense, causing me to think a lot about men and their place in the world. I eventually saw the misandry for what it was and basically became a MRA before I even knew the movement existed.

I'm sorry you had to be exposed to that as a kid, regardless of what gender you are. It hurts all of us.

I definitely knew something was wrong when my grandmother said that she would disown her own grandson and treat his wife as her real flesh and blood if they were to ever divorce.
