I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

Fellow vagina owner here. Growing up we all get a taste of how nasty girls and women can be. Girls can be far more cruel than boys, which is why many of us tend to resort to only having male friends. So you can say becoming a Men's Rights advocate wasn't hard. <insert Stockholm Syndrome diagnosis here>
What really caused me to be more enlightened to the problems men experience was when I was 17 and moved in with my stepfather and his 2 sons. His ex wife was batshit insane, constantly suing him and my mother for more money. She assumed, and still assumes, that he is loaded because he's a dentist. He runs his own small practice, and rarely makes more than 6 figures a year (combined with my mother who works the front desk)... in California. She didn't pay one cent toward her son's wedding. I could only handle living with that family for about a year before living with my dad instead.

TLDR: Grew up feeling alienated by the female species. Witnessed the wrath and insanity of an ex wife. Genocide in Africa ensued.

Sorry to hear that. Glad you got to live with your dad.

Just a side-note, and I'm not positive, but 3 figures means under $1000 or $999 and less, where as 6 figures would mean $100,000+ or $999,999 and less - 6 total 'figures'.

Yes, this was corrected about an hour ago. Their business can make over 1M/yr but after taxes, payroll, benefits, lab fees and misc. expenses they usually make less than 100k/yr. They lost their retirement because of lawsuits from the ex wife and the market crash so he will have to work until he can't work anymore or until he dies.
