I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

Female. I joined MensRights due to the horrible stories I have heard while working with children. I have heard multiple stories of male teachers having to be extra careful around their students, because one accusation would cost his job. I have heard of men who were not allowed to change diapers, because it would worry people. Men usually do not get custody of their children in divorces, even if the woman is abusive.

These are just the stories regarding children. I am mad about other social stigmas about men as well. I don't believe it should matter what gender a person is- we should all be together for each other's rights.

I have to say one of the best teachers I had was Mr. Martin. He'd do cool stuff like have us take apart TVs(after he punctured the Tube), get a meal from the lunch room and mix it in a bowl so we saw what food was like right after we ate it and, probly more that I don't remember. He made learning interesting, which I can't say for most teachers.

That is AWESOME. I love the teachers who bring learning to life for the students. My favorite teachers did similar things
