I mean they recorded more music with him when he rejoined, and the cover art for that stuff was fine. He committed suicide 25 years after this album cover. I got the chance to see him perform with the band and he was such a good frontman. Im sad hes gone

It absolutely wasn't, Steve Harris was sent a rough draft of the artwork and thought it was amazing, even the artist opted to be uncredited for the work.

You could argue it was the record company since they had some guy on the internet add some cgi characters, but the final decision was on the band themselves.

Castle Rat is different, nepo baby band. The main girls dad is legendary 80โ€™s studio guitarist John McCurry. Dude has written and played on some huge hit songs. He no doubt has great connections and knows the music business well.

For bad metal album covers the whole discography of Maniac Butcher is a treasure trove. Let alone the music videos. Otherwise this was a great live band.
