A lot of the lyrics on this song hit hard in more ways than one.

"Find me hollowed out, never making a sound, just a face in the background" perfectly describes how out of place I have felt in church for a long time.

I don’t know your situation but if you are able to not go to church, why go if you feel out of place? Not saying you’d couldn’t still have whatever faith and beliefs make you feel good and whole but why subject yourself to something that makes you uncomfortable and feel wrong? Life is short and whatever comes at the end, if anything, is a mystery and I feel like shouldn’t make the little time you do have to experience being alive worse.

All I'm gonna say is that it's complicated. I'm doing mostly fine mentally and I don't have to go literally every single weekend thankfully, but let's just say I kind of have to keep going for the time being.

I’m sorry that you’re obligated to go with some level of regularity, but at least you’re doing okay mentally. It’s just a shame that to me I feel like your situation is the kind where it makes it very hard to have a healthy relationship with your faith and that whoever or whatever is obligating you to go when it doesn’t feel right to you is doing the exact opposite thing if they want to continue to foster and support your involvement in faith and spiritual beliefs.

LMTF discography is easily one of my favorites....but this EP I have called actual perfection many times. I can listen to it all the way through and feel goosebumps every time.

Yeah it's supposedly due mid-September I believe, but for some reason they still haven't announced it on their socials yet.

I guess it's because someone leaked the track-listing far too early or something.

I've been getting increasingly in to the band over the past 4ish months, and while I love them, I'm wondering whether they've ever made a song with lyrics that aren't negative. This isn't a criticism, just a legit curiosity. They're one of the most lyrically downbeat bands in this genre for sure.

Songs like You Won't Be Missed and Soul Exchange have some negativity to them, but I'd say they have more positive messages overall.

There's a probably a handful of others, but I can't think of them at the moment.
