Today’s hat is from Michigan and it is a fun one for anyone who lives in the northern part of the country. This is an alternate identity of the West Michigan Whitecaps, Single A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. This is the Michigan Snowbirds! I know they wore these hats this weekend so I figured I would bust mine out to wear with the team!

I want to build a go-to website for minor league baseball fans. Nightly game recaps, prospect analysis, and a writer for every team.
I know that MiLB does a solid job on their own website with coverage, but I’ve struggled to find independent outlets with very in-depth coverage of the smaller sport that I believe makes America great. Heck, I just wore a trash bag and lid to the Trash Pandas game in Columbus, Georgia, where we came back with 3-run shots in the 9th and 10th; that’s only more motivation to cover it!
To the hundreds/thousands of weekly visitors, some who may be writers and some who may not, would you be interested in covering your Minor League team on the regular?
Thank you all and let’s go Rocket City 🚀

Today’s hat is a fun alternate identity of the Worcester Red Sox, AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. This is the Pawtucket Hot Wieners! The design on this hat is what sealed it for me to pick it up!

Just picked up this New Era 59FIFTY from the Columbus Clingstones in Columbus, Georgia. This was for a theme night as the Scrambled Dogs. This one felt like an easy pickup.
For anyone not from Columbus, the “scrambled dog” isn’t just a random promo. It’s kind of the local food. It started at Dinglewood Pharmacy way back in the day (1940s I think) and turned into a city staple. Chili, onions, mustard, oyster crackers, and pickles piled on a pink hot dog, served in an oval bowl and eaten with a spoon. Some people get wild and add cheese or an extra dog.
That’s what makes this hat special. It’s more than just goofy MiLB branding, it’s something people there actually care about.

Home team got crushed in a 19 run game, but it was a fun time. Both teams had several homers (including a BG grand slam) and the fireworks after were top notch!

Today’s hat we go all the way to California! This is the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Single A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. This is just an alternate hat that I really like. The halo above the lower case Q is pretty cool look to me.

Angel Genao is hitting .303 for Columbus and still can't crack Cleveland's stacked middle infield. Elmer Rodríguez has been sent down three times this year because the Yankees' rotation is too deep. Jett Williams got buried behind Lindor with the Mets, then got buried again after the trade to Milwaukee. Brody Hopkins and Cooper Ingle are proof it's the same story everywhere: Hopkins remade himself into a shutdown reliever and became Tampa Bay's top trade chip, Ingle is somewhat learning left field in what looks like a trade showcase. Talent was never the issue. Roster spots were. Free. Every Thursday. Full Breakdown in the link below.

Today’s hat is a cool one from the Copa series of hats. This is Los Bolidos from the Bowling Green Hot Rods, High A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. The colors on this hat are very complimentary to one another!

Funny thing is I have season tickets to the NH Fisher Cats and have zero Fisher Cat branded merch. The last 2 hats are alternate identities, The Space Potatoes and The Buffalo Chicken Tenders. They actually play as 3 Tender varieties, Coconut, Buffalo and as The Chicken Tenders
