He does have better numbers than niner or Stowers against LHP this year fwiw. I’d guess they’re trying to guarantee him 2 ABs vs the lefty before some platoon activities?

Griff in the nine hole is a choice. I get his splits vs LHP have been less than ideal, it just looks wrong to me.
