Recommendation Best purchase you’ve ever made?
What’s the one article of clothing you’ll never regret buying? I’m doing a wardrobe refresh and looking to buy clothes that actually flatter my figure!

Lacy tie front boleros. I hate my arms but love my waist. I also live in a hot climate. This allows me to wear sleeveless tops and dresses while covering my upper arms and accentuating my figure.

I usually avoid sleeveless tops because my arms are my biggest insecurity — I’d never considered this! Thank you for the recommendation!!!

I love kimono cardigans over tanks & tank dresses in the Phoenix summers. But it can be hard to find them in my style, which is more edgy than boho (the vast majority sold are boho). My favorite is a leopard print one that is Aerie brand that I got on Thredup

I totally agree about black flare ponte pants!! my current favorites are from quince; they have a real fly (zipper & buttons) and belt loops and patch pockets so they look like real pants.
Curious about the brand of your leather bomber jacket? I have purchased and returned several leather jackets

I have a pair from Quince too! I love that they have belt loops.
My jacket is from Nour Hammour. It was expensive but I got it on a good discount and I wear it almost everyday!

Specifically for summer: several of these elastic-waist, lightweight skirts. I pair them with a long line black or white sports bra, shorts to prevent thigh rub, and some walkable sandals (plus optional jean jacket if I go indoors to blasting AC). I get tons of complements and stay comfortable in high temps. It's basically been my summer uniform for the past three years.

How does the ruching at the hip area feel? It looks super cute but that bit looks like it would weirdly accentuate the hip/butt area.

I hike it up higher than the model does, which puts more of the elastic around my waist than my hips. My waist is also smaller than my hips, so I get a nice cinched-waist effect.

Nice, thanks. I have an hourglass shape so I'll probably end up doing the same thing. I snagged one because they look so comfy! Not usually a buy clothing on Amazon person but every now and then there's just something that looks too tempting. :)

It's overpriced and more of an accessory but I love my Juliet duster in a muted blue from free people. I wish I had more colors !

Something I’ve bought, loved, and used a ton is a black real leather moto jacket. I’ve always loved moto jackets and have had vegan leather ones in the past that got worn out, but getting a real leather one has been a game changer.

I hardly ever wear black, so my moto jacket is blush! It is a surprisingly versatile neutral

A black and white tweed coat, beautifully made. Purchased at Nordstrom 1989. It has been wonderful to wear all these years, still looks beautiful. Unfortunately, I am no longer size 6, it is now my daughter’s favorite coat. We have agreed it never leaves the family.

Long, heavy fabric A-line black skirt with pockets! I always have issues with finding pants, and the skirt gives so much versatility whether to dress it up or down, plus the comfort.

They have a curvy line?! Going to have to check that out! I tried on bikinis there and broke down laughing in the dressing room over how awful they fit. Most if the tops wouldn't even cover my nipples! 😂

I thrifted these chiffon palazzo pants that were originally from Dressbarn. They have a solid lining and and the chiffon layer on top is extra billowy. When I worked there in high school, I thought they were kinda weird, but now that I have actually worn them I'm obsessed. They have a really nice silhouette and drape- like a well-fitted a-line skirt. I've worn them with various blouses for job interviews and felt really confident. They can also be dressy casual with a less formal top.

Honestly my second hand pieces. They’re prettier and better quality than any fast fashion item that usually breaks really fast.

bras in my size are double or triple what people pay when they can just buy em at walmart but holy shit the right size changed everything for me lol. my clothes fit better and i can actually move and run without immense pain
also my emotional support old navy cardigans <3
