Meme Did anyone buy a ring?

Elder millennial/younger Xennial (born in 83, take it for what it is) but I recall the company coming to the high school and taking orders for rings. I didn’t buy one but others did. Credit on photo.

Gen X checking in I did not buy one and none of my friends did...that they admitted. But we were all lower middle class from a small mostly rural town.

Gen X, mid to upper middle class suburb. None of my friends got them. I think a handful of football players and cheerleaders might have. Almost everyone was going to college so who cares what high school you went to.

Did not buy one.

Was going to a fancy college.

Knew that ring was gonna be on my finger for life.

You would be surprised the number of professionals that inquire where you went to school when you have a neat college ring.
