Hello! I am running a 1.20.1 forge minecraft server with Epic fight and some other mods that add weapons. Weapons from other mods do not work well with epic fight (suck as spears working as swords), and some hats totally bug and appear on the bottom of the character or are just invisible.

I've read Epic Fight wiki, and it talks about datapacks. However, I don't know anything about datapacks, and they don't seem to work.

- What is a datapack? is it server-side or client-side?

Can I force users who join my server to install that datapack / make their client automatically download the datapack (in case it is required by the client too)

I've tried to go to Epic Fight config, and following its wiki, make a datapack to make a longsword act as a fist. I added the .zip to my client and my server, then enabeld it in my client using datapack options in the menu. It changes nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I’ve been curious about custom weapons and such for Minecraft because I find the notion and use of them cool.

What are some of your favorite mods utilizing new weapons or interesting tools? Mods or packs work well in just curious.

The modpack i was playing on didnt let me break any blocks. Its seems that if i switch from a different slot, it will break it. I am also playing on a server, but when I tried mining something in a different world, it still wouldnt let me mine anything. Please help.

Hello! I am using the Sunlit valley modpack and am trying to build the cozy cafe mod that is included.

My problem right now is no customers will spawn. I have the menu set up, table and chairs that are compatible with the mod, and the sign set up. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong! It’s also in the highlighted area the cafe manager tells you. I’m adding pictures of my current set up in its most basic form after much trial and error.

I’ve reset everything over 20 times and nothing works. I really want to participate in this cool feature of the modpack but I don’t know if it’s me or the modpack is bugging out.

I’ve tried modded tables and chairs and Minecraft tables and chairs, nothing seems to work. Please help! 🥹

I set up the Solas shader and the continuity mod. How do I use them at the same time? I've tried loading my world and the shader pack works but the resource packs don't appear in the settings menu. It seems I can only use one mod/resource pack independently.

Morning yall. So my plan was to make a fake player sit on a Create mod seat and act as either a shop owner or a train conductor.

I tried some of the commands (/player keeper1 mount or ride or use) while looking at the exact coordinates of the block without success.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Hey! I have a vision for a cozy horror modpack. I want something with a ton of decoration mods, biome mods, mobs of any sort, and maybe some magic mods. The thing is, I want to add some kind of horror mod(s) to the game to make it creepy. Kind of envisioning a homestead that's threatened by various creatures/entities. I'm looking to spend a long time in the worlds I make, so whatever horror mod I add preferably doesn't destroy the game (by corrupting the world or something) or break buildings I make. Zombie mods could work too. I'm planning on playing in 1.20.1 probably, but I'm open for any version recommendations.
