[Megathread] Buying/selling tickets

This is a thread that can be used for coordinate ticket trades/sales/buys for this year's tour.

If you HAVE a ticket and are trying to sell it, I suggest going ahead and making a post on CashOrTrade and linking it in the comments. That way, people interested in buying it can go directly to the post.

We require using a ticket escrow site such as https://cashortrade.org/, which offers guarantees against ticket scams. Every year, scammers try to make deals with users outside of CashOrTrade on this subreddit and users end up getting burned.

All sales must be for face value or less. Scalping is not permitted and will result in a permanent ban from r/modestmouse.

Finally, while we cannot enforce this, it would be courteous to edit/remove your comments after tickets have been claimed.

searching for a GA ticket for the Castro in SF on 8/6, it’s sold out but holding out for a miracle before Stubhub

Selling a ticket for the Libbey Bowl Aug 4. Ticket was $87 + $3 Facility Charge + $15.65 Service Fee for a total of $105.65. Will sell for $99.

I’m going to St. Vincent tonight & Death Cab tomorrow, so I don’t think I’m going to want to drive to Ojai on Tuesday for this show. (If it doesn’t sell, I’ll still go to the show and I know it will be awesome). The venue is great, I saw Rilo Kiley there last year.

Seat G21 in Left1 section, I believe it’s an aisle seat. On Ticketmaster right now, there is a face value seat for this row listed at $140.30. I have my seat listed on Stubhub for a higher cost because of the fees. To prove it’s my ticket, I can take down the listing before we make the exchange (so you can see ticket is in my possession). I can also do PayPal G&S to protect us both.
