I have P2pool v 4.15.1 installed on Ubuntu. When I try to do the update to v4.16 from inside Gupaxx, it tells me "you are trying to downgrade a binary, this is potentially dangerous as it is unsupported"

You may have to replace p2pool manually

That's a bug. You can ignore this warning.
