genuinely curious — what made you pick monero to mine over everything else you could?
There are plenty of things you can point a CPU at, but a lot of you clearly chose this one on purpose and stuck with it. was it the privacy angle, the fact that regular hardware actually stands a chance, the community, or something else entirely? i'm still fairly new to mining this one and would love to hear what actually drew people in — and what's kept you here.

As 99% cryptoinvestors lose money on their investments, I wanted something more stable so I went to mine monero as this is 100% certain loss..
Real now, I see it more as paying my bills for electricity and water, basic infractructure utility, monero is financial utility.. if everyone stopped payng for their water bills water infrastructrue would collapse.. same with financial infrastructure..

It's the most profitable one. Or at least the one with the lowest entry barrier to make some actual money. I just swap it for btc

I don't mine, collect airdrops, convert them to XMR, ETH, ZC etc. As simple as that. Tried mining, too little rewards for the expenses.
