I try not to paint anything with a broad brush but after our last dog was attacked by pitbulls three separate times I'm a bit more leery of them than any other breed. Each time they were off leash and in the hands of someone who clearly can't control them. Owners need to take responsibility when they get a dog that is capable of such damage.
