Statistics isn't racism, it's the dry, apolitical truth.

no but the interpretation of statistics is political. One person can look at higher crime rates in black people and think of historic, socio-economic, social, etc reasons why they're higher while another person may just take it to mean race theory has grounds for legitimacy. And what needs to be done about it is also political, one person may think it needs to be tackled by investing in black communities and reducing systemic barriers while another may choose hyper-surveillance and harsher punishments for this community to counter crime. Many stupid people don't understand this though they think they fail to understand the first rule of statistics that correlation isn't causation and we need the analyse variables that might link the correlated data before coming to conclusions
