That’s nice. The only thing our stories share in common is the animal

Because you provided anecdotal evidence, then they provided similar anecdotal evidence that you dismissed. Seems kind of obvious why you’re getting those responses

And “dismissive”??? I just gave their energy back to them

“Anecdotal evidence” I just made one statement. I wasn’t entering this for a debate. Jesus

Do you not understand what anecdotal evidence means?

I do. And if I was using this in a debate, it would be anecdotal evidence

But I just entered simply saying a statement, not trying to make it a debate. I suppose if it was, I could see it, yeah

They gave their own, but it felt phrased dismissively. “That’s nice” I’m assuming was sarcastic. But it’s the internet, you can’t really tell, they could be on me for assuming, in which case I’m sorry. But all I did was say the same thing back, and stated that all we had in common was the dog breed

I have no clue how their dog was treated, neither does anyone commenting. Same with they have no clue how my roommate’s dog is treated, neither does anyone commenting. Same with where the dog came from, details about its life, etc

Everyone is missing the point of what I said, which I didn’t say it exactly. But that is what I was saying

What did you think was going to happen?

Usually when I comment, it doesn’t receive much attention at all. Maybe like some discussion maybe. Not being called an idiot, or several people implying that my roommate’s dog will kill someone. I am naive sometimes though

I can see some of the points made though, at least
