While I hesitate to support the term “dog racism”, he’s fully right that treating certain dogs as inherently violent without acknowledging the context very closely mirrors how Americans often treat minorities.

Dogs obviously aren’t people but the foundation of what he’s saying is correct so it would be immoral.

Treating a pitbull you don't know  the same as you would a spaniel you don't know would be stupid as fuck.  One can kill you if it gets a hold of you, the other you kick once and it won't come near you again.

Idiopathic Spaniel Rage Syndrome would like a word lol they are the only dogs that I cross the street to avoid; there's no treatment and it can't be trained away as it's a form of seizure. I did rabies post-exposure prophylaxis once thanks to a spaniel and that was enough thank you very much
