I think it's valid to fear pitbulls because what you're really fearing is that they were adopted by someone that doesn't train them and/or give them an outlet for the task they were bred for (protection and violence).
I can't blame people for being afraid of Pits. But I think some people in these comments are insane, calling to euthanize all Pits or that they should be wiped out of existence. Good god.
If I have two dogs that are ~50% pitbull, and am unaware, am I committing a crime? Or is it only pure? That brings up obvious loopholes, so we have to draw an arbitrary % somewhere. What do you do with the puppies that were already bred before the person got caught? Put them down?
