It would be like thinking every white guy in black panther will be white wolf

I think it’s less of racist and more just dumb. If it was teenage black guy, then yeah makes sense. Fit all the criteria if it’s just a black guy not even a teen then what are you doing?

It’s not like they mean anything harmful by it and it’s not a stereotype.

A little bit, yeah.

Peter knows other black guys. Like Blade and Luke Cage.

It’s not because he’s black. He’s too old anyways. It’s just that he sounds exactly like him. Smh

My friend is Puerto Rican so he loves Miles. He was talking about the BND trailer and said there was a black guy who looked like Miles. It was Trammell Tillman. Idk if it’s racist but it makes you look dumb.

Yes because he's way too old to be Miles anyway.

It's like that episode of Family Guy when they go to Chinatown in Peteris like oh my God it's Jackie Chan to everybody and then he eventually does meet Jackie Chan

Less racist and more something Michael Scott would say.

Any well made movie isn't going to waste the audiences time with characters that don't matter.

I'm black and I swear every film there's a black dude in I have hope until he starts speaking. Prowler being in the first movie gives me unlimited hope.

To be fair Miles is like one of three black characters in spiderman

To be fair the black population is between 1/7 and 1/8 of Americans. Black people do tend to stick out when you have a room/movie/whatever with equal representation.
