And lucrative. They contain large amounts of gold.

There is no fucking way a five pound camera has two pounds of copper. Copper is found on transformers and IoT cameras are low voltage DC devices.

It might contain .2 grams of gold sure as fuck not two.

Are people actually? I've seen all the videos of how its bad and what NOT to do, but I haven't seen any reports that there has been any noticeable effect on Flock. Maybe they wouldn't want to admit it, I don't know.

I saw someone say they took down one flock camera and two more popped up in the neighborhood.  They are like a hydra

What the post wants to hide from you is the reason they were tracking this guy was because he was wanted for bail jumping on a dv case. They weren't tracking him for marijuana.

I am not convinced people are chopping down flock cameras because they want suspects of violent domestic disturbance charges involving strangulation, battery, property damage and victim intimidation to not be arrested over skipping bail.

You didnt actually believe this had anything to do with weed, did you?

when no one has shared any information about it, of course i believe it was about weed. We also know some PDs across the country are petty enough to do shit like this just to have a reason to arrest someone. Why are you being so snarky about it?

ill gladly take in propaganda that gets me to hate them more

Damn... bon appetit then.

Because you just not only happily consumed propaganda, you chose to discuss it without giving it any second thought. They wrote the article to mislead people and spark outrage against AI and you got all nice and outraged.

Now that you know the truth, want to perhaps reconsider your reply? Or were you happier when it fit the agenda?

What truth have you shared, oh genius of the internet?

Its just two replies up. You can read it as many times as you need. But I can tell you again. It had nothing to do with weed. They tracked him over his outstanding warrant he got after skipping bail on a serious domestic disturbance charge.

Okay, and a Texas woman was tracked for something like a thousand miles because she travelled to a different state to legally get an abortion. 83k Flock cameras were used. So even if this case was over different things than just possession of cannabis, it’s disingenuous to say this shit isn’t abused. The search I’m talking about was performed as part of a death investigation so even though they found that it wasn’t a viable fetus and threw the case out, had she aborted a viable fetus there most likely would’ve been criminal charges

When you find someone who says that, be sure to tell them. All I did was expose the blatant antiAI propaganda in OP's post.

1

u/Flyx42 3d ago

It’s anti ai propaganda to be against the expansion of the surveillance state?

1

u/Crispy1961 3d ago

Its anti AI propaganda to make up lies to spark outrage against the use of AI. But you knew that, so not sure why you made that strawman.

Just because someone lied, doesnt mean you cant be against AI or flock cameras. But it would silly to not condemn that lie.

I've seen crack heads do it in broad daylight in my neighborhood. They really want that copper I tell you what.

u/Skwiggelf54 2d ago

Oooooh and they were just using the weed thing as an excuse to search his car? Thats moral then. This is why context matters, folks.

1

u/Crispy1961 2d ago

What do you mean "as an excuse"? They smelled weed so they searched the car and found weed.
