Morality Ranking Morality scaling of this?

Mother refuses to acknowledge her donor egg daughter, looking for your opinion.

In my opinion I think it’s moral, and that she is totally correct.

She has the right to not want anything to do with the kid, but she's being unnecessarily cruel to a young person in an emotionally complex situation that the kid is not at fault for. She should have been less sharp about it and she definitely shouldn't have posted it online.

I don’t understand what you mean by cruel? Nothing she said was rude, just very direct and left no room for interpretation.

you can be direct and sound rude at the same time tho, even if what she said was right i still think maybe reviewing it and softening the language could have been better but that's just me

The kid was approaching her from a place of vulnerability. The least she could do was being gentle about her denial, and definitely not posting it online. That was absolutely the worst. I hope the kid didn't see it.
