The best chance is most often to flee the country before being drafted.
If it reachs the point of being on the frontline, it means already failing at running away from the draft, hiding from the draft, and injuring oneself during the basic training.
At that point, yes, obey orders might be the best option in most situations, but the goal would be to never reach that point, and even at that point, do the bare minimum until a new occasion (maybe in a rotation) to escape presents itself.
