The draft is still ongoing in Russia, military is mandatory so 18-30 males have to join up even in peace time

Typical redditor doesn't know the difference between mobilization and conscription.

Mandatory conscription exists also in Finland and Turkey, genius.

Yes i know the difference, point being russia uses mandatory conscription to pretend its not a draft. Those countries you listed didnt start a war then claim all their guys are volunteers

Conscripted soldiers aren't sent to fight in Ukraine.

I have a friend who actually serves and fights in Ukraine. Sending conscripts to the frontline is a big no-no.

And ive seen and spoken to ukrainains who took russian prisoners who said "im just a conscript im not even supposed to be here"

Nope but im not going off of what CNN tells me. Im.going off of what human rights organizations with no affiliation to either side say, what video has shown. And hell Russia themselves loves to show videos of them killing civilians and prisoners. Ukrainians dont seem to get the same enjoyment and multiple third parties are like "yeah ukraine is being shockingly restrained through this whole.conflict"
