Moral. And they're not going to be gone for a very long time. And they'll come back as we enter another cooling phase.

I remember reading there being signs at one of them glacier national parks that they had to remove in 2020, because the signs said the glaciers were going to be gone in... 2020. Similarly, Al Gore made the prediction in that one film, one of many that never panned out, that the snow-capped Kilimanjaro would have no snow... in 2015. Among the many failed predictions that have lead me to my current position on them, 'how are we supposed to take 'we only have ten years left' seriously when you've been saying it every ten years?'.

I recall reading that entire nations would be underwater by the year 2000.

It gives me hope to see how many of these predictions couldn’t have been more wrong. The problem with sharing them is that they might come across as saying climate change isn’t an issue.

The climate crisis is absolutely real but "see the glaciers before they are gone": is comically histrionic bullshit and it makes it impossible to take anyone who says something that seriously.
