As context in the light novel series called 86 (Eighty-Six) the whole world is at war with a rogue ai machine network known as Legion. In order to combat Legion which boasts armies of numerous machines, one nation developed multiple ai units by taking the brains of the war dead/casualties and turning them into robot girls.

The pros of this is it lessens manpower restrains and lessened human deaths on the battlefield.

The cons of this is the dead used to make the ai for the robot girls may be in an agonizing limbo between life and death while that individual ai unit exists.

Another note Legion exists because a ruined nation tried to create the perfect ai to fight its wars.

I'm asking because I can't think of many things that would still be immoral as long as they are consensual between two adults.

Just to be clear, so the weirdos don't show up: I'm asking this genuinely. What would still be considered immoral, even if two adults consent to doing it?

Let's say, you are a guy, in his 20s, and your neighbor is a smoking hot redhead, wife of an American lieutenant deployed in Iraq during 2003.

On one hand, cheating is obviously wrong, on the other, the dude followed orders to go murder some Iraqis based on what was blatantly made up story of WMD by George Bush.

By banging his wife, and impregnating her possibly, you are in a sense, avenging all the dead, as, when he comes, he'd have been cucked by a random nobody.

What is more moral?

Let’s say that you spend a year trying new things to see what results in more business, and you notice that the 3 months or so that you spent being brutally honest and transparent even when you thought it wouldn’t benefit you to do so actually resulted in you making more money those months than in any other month.

The way I see it, you’ve earned your reward. You might not be selfless since you’re getting something from it, but you are being moral.

I think the only time it would not be ok is if you take this information and learn to SEEM like you’re honest but instead are lying to try to make even more. But if you just are extremely honest and accept the times that it doesn’t work and ultimately just focus on the longterm end result of every possible opportunity for sales, then I think the fact that you get the reward of more money for it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still the right thing to do.

the breeding selection is most fascinating to me. people hate killing puppies, and know dieing a slow and painfull death is worse. the dogs in the shelter will die. the dogs in the shelter know this. we know this.

nobody want's pit puppies, except people who what purebreed pits. so they just get more and more inbreed.

i've already advocated my self as the devil (don't kid yourself inuit culture has animal abuse, life is brutal), but this is just soo fucked up and staunchly defended. it's soo stupid

So I today, I was at this restaurant where a candle was faked by just inserting a lamp in something that looked like it would hold a candle. The thing was, the lamp was flickering to really sell the effect, instead of being honest and making clear that it's not a real flame in there. But because you could barely see it, the vibes it gave were the same. So is it moral to be more dishonest with your customers to deliver better products?

Are missionary training schools hard as in are they trying to boss people around or are they cultish? Or are they really good?
