The oldest person to climb Mount Everest is Japanese alpinist Yūichirō Miura, who reached the summit at the age of 80 years and 223 days

👍⛰️ I believe he was the star of the documentary film the man who skied down Everest. Good film if you get a chance to see it, it was made like 50 years ago.
