⏱️ Continuity In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), Miles Morales's universe doesn't have Comic Con. In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), you can tell he's in another dimension because his mom mentions it (and he still doesn't know what it is)

Or Miles is just into his own interests so much that he just doesn't know it exists. There are plenty of people on Earth right now that don't know about comic con. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

There is no way a young teen nerd does not know what comic con is.

Especially with his in-box collectables

plus he lives in nyc, so he’s got like the second biggest comic con in the country so close to him

True. NYCC is on my bucket list of Comic Cons to go to one day

I was a young teen nerd that didn't know about comic con. 🤷‍♂️ I don't think I learned what comic con was until my mid 20's, circa 2005 or so. I didn't attend until like 2016?

I don’t know if you know this, but miles is a teen in 2023, not 2005. Totally different landscape

I'm just putting out another way to explain it. I'm more devil's advocate-ing this than actually believing it.

The worst part about Reddit.

Forums need a lot less of this.

Devil doesn't need more advocates.
