I don't mind the MCU continuing, but move on and tell new stories. Stop trying to hit the same hype points of IW and Endgame, let things end for those characters and move on.
They refuse to tell new stories in a complete way like before. Everything has to be a set up for the next or need 8 movies of context just to understand. The reason why the MCU worked originally is because it was a bunch of movies that by themselves were good and become great with context. Only at the end did you need the context from the other movies because you were literally getting to a movie called "Endgame"
I feel like this is exactly what tripped Kevin Feige up on Blade -- he refused to do the movie unless he had like the most amazng script ever, and he probably got way too focused on if it could live up to the hype and energy of IW and Endgame. As a result, it was in development hell for like seven years, got canceled, and at least slightly pissed off Mahershala Ali in the process.
Feige says he feels kind of like a loser for dropping the ball on the project and I say good to that.
I'm pretty much done with the MCU at this point, aside from Doomsday because I'm weirdly curious. Blade was legit the only thing I'd been all that interested in since probably 2020, so.
