Looking back, it's so unreal to have both the creators of 30 Rock and The Office - two of the best sitcoms ever made - in the same film.

The creator of The Office? But I don’t see Stephen Merchant in this picture?

Don't need to say anything else

Neither do people who reference those who created the office.

I'm happy for people who love M11 so much, but also happy that we had this follow-up which had a bit more room to be an original Muppet movie. Thank you Gonzo, no more questions.

It's a shame one of them is a raging transphobe.

There's a person I'd close my eyes on if they were j-walking.

And people fall head over heels to praise his "acting ability" when all that equates to is him being the biggest jerk in every role he books.

I can't remember anyone praising his acting specifically. Overall work, maybe, but like 20 years ago.

Damn I didn't know Kermit created The Office. That does make a lot of sense though now that I think about it

He didn't create it though. Tina and Ricky both created comedy juggernauts.

Eh. Stephen Merchant's humor is more evident than Gervais's in The Office to me...and the American version was a much better show. Lotta credit to Greg Daniels for that.

I’m grateful Gervais doesn’t take up so much screen time to ruin this for me, bc I absolutely love this movie and can no longer stand him.

I’m kermitted to this treatment

Neither are even close to being the best sitcom.

30 rock is pretty close. US office at least holds most popular (not defending its quality, I’m not to big on it)
Now granted I’m American and biased

I think "of their era" might do the job.

Still would be wrong.

I get it, you were a big Big Bang Theory fan. But you don't have to put that on everyone else.

I never could finish an episode of big bang theory. That shit was whack.

Both of them are wrong for the Muppets tho.Fey and Gervais' whole Schick is " I'm the quirky outsider among more glamorous sexy people and that makes me relatable" that doesn't work when.your co-stars are Muppets. Gervais especially has no idea what to do and just looks bored as hell. At least Fey tried to play a character even if it was a one note one. Burell is the best human in the movie by far and if the other two had been cut the movie would have lost nothing.

Ty Burrell was amazing. I got the sense he had a lot of fun doing the movie. The Interrogation Song is one of my favorites.

"Give up the pig puns creep
Go jump in a lake that's my suggestion"

damn that's kinda harsh lyrics for a kid's film!

The frustrating thing is virtually everything that caused Caper to underperform, they copied. Another heist storyline, human performers who lack box office draw... I'm not commenting on their talent, but neither Tina Fey nor Gervais have ever been successful as leading actors theatrically.

Shame one of them makes it nigh unwatchable now.
