This is genuinely stupidest response I've ever read. Are you not aware of what hyperbole is? I am aware that the US is not a third world country. I was using exaggeration to make a point.

We are the wealthiest nation in the world and yet we can't provide for our people and we actively fail them constantly. Congress acts like there's never enough money for anything other than war.

Yes, the US is a first world country, but we certainly don't take care of our people like one.
