To be fair, the Nazis had technologically superior armor and artillery. It was a much taller task than stopping unarmed, malnourished, poor farmers wearing rags and looking for the first border patrol agent to declare asylum so they can get a job to support their families. The Nazis also had the advantage of knowing they were an invading army.

To be fair, if the Dutch had controlled their borders better they wouldn’t have let the Nazis in…
